Dr. Scott Souther, pastor of Gateway Baptist Church, can best be described as an enthusiastic, Bible-believing preacher with vision and a message for this needy hour.
God has used Pastor Souther to accomplish much for His glory since calling him to Gateway in August 2007. Under his leadership, we are seeing lives changed each week. The church is also home to Gateway Christian School that provides Bible-based traditional education for our children from grades K-12. Pastor Souther saw the need for Christian daycare in our area; therefore, the new ministry of Picket Fence Daycare & Pre-school is opening in August 2008.
One of our goals is to reach out to our community in order to bring as many as possible to Jesus Christ. Sunday School classes are available for all ages to learn and grow in God's Word. Gateway's mission program reaches worldwide with the purpose of fulfilling the great commission of Mark 16:15 "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." In addition, there are numerous ministries for members of all ages to participate in.
